1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms govern your use of BugBoard ("the Service") at bugs.techteamup.com, operated by TechTeamUp, England. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, AUP, Cookie Policy, and DPA.

2. Description of Service

BugBoard is a SaaS visual feedback and bug reporting tool providing:

  • Embeddable widget for capturing screenshots, annotations, and feedback from websites
  • Dashboard for managing, triaging, and resolving bug reports
  • Project-based collaboration with team member access
  • Technical context capture (browser, OS, console logs, page URL)

3. Account Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information; maintain credential security
  • Accept responsibility for all account activity
  • Only install the widget on sites you have authority over
  • Provide privacy notices to end users about the widget
  • Ensure compliance with data protection law

4. Embeddable Widget

The widget captures visual screenshots when a user initiates feedback. By installing it, you acknowledge that screenshots may contain personal information visible on-screen. You are responsible for: informing site users about the widget; ensuring your privacy policy covers the widget's data collection; not deploying the widget on pages displaying sensitive data (payment forms, health records) without appropriate safeguards.

The widget does not set cookies, track users across sessions, record keystrokes, or access data outside the visible viewport.

5. Acceptable Use

Subject to our AUP.

6. Data Processing

Project Owners are data controllers for widget-collected feedback. TechTeamUp is data processor per our DPA.

7. Service Availability

Target 99.5% uptime monthly. Not liable for feedback lost due to widget loading failures, Service downtime, or third-party infrastructure.

8. Intellectual Property

Service owned by TechTeamUp. You retain ownership of your screenshots, feedback, and content. You grant us a limited licence for providing the Service. Feedback grants us a perpetual, royalty-free licence.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Service provided "as is" without warranties
  • No liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Aggregate liability capped at fees paid in preceding 12 months or £100
  • Not responsible for content of screenshots captured by the widget
  • Not liable for privacy breaches caused by widget deployment on inappropriate pages

Exclusions: negligent death/injury; fraud; non-excludable liabilities under English law. Consumer statutory rights unaffected.

10. Indemnification

You indemnify TechTeamUp from claims arising from: Terms violations; widget deployment on unauthorised sites; data protection breaches; content in screenshots you capture.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. 30-day data export window, then deletion. Surviving: Sections 8, 9, 10, 13, 14.

12. Dispute Resolution

Good-faith negotiation (30 days). Business users: courts of England and Wales. EU consumers: EU ODR platform.

13. Force Majeure

Neither party liable for events beyond reasonable control.

14. Governing Law

Laws of England and Wales. Consumer rights unaffected.

15. Modifications, Severability, Entire Agreement

30 days' notice for material changes. Invalid provisions modified minimally. These Terms plus all referenced policies constitute the entire agreement.
