1. Purpose
This AUP governs your use of BugBoard and is incorporated into our Terms of Service.
2. Prohibited Conduct
2.1 Widget Misuse
- Installing the widget on sites you do not own or have authority over
- Using the widget for surveillance, monitoring, or capturing data without consent
- Deliberately capturing screenshots containing sensitive PII (payment details, health data, passwords) without appropriate safeguards
- Using the widget to capture and exfiltrate proprietary or confidential data from competitors
2.2 Harmful Content
- Uploading malicious code, malware, or exploits through bug reports
- Submitting defamatory, threatening, harassing, or discriminatory content
- Using the Service for spam or unsolicited communications
2.3 Platform Integrity
- Accessing other users' projects or data
- Interfering with infrastructure or circumventing security
- Reverse engineering the Service or widget
- Using the widget API for purposes other than legitimate bug reporting
2.4 Data Protection
- Collecting personal data via the widget without a lawful basis
- Failing to inform end users about the widget's presence on your site
- Not responding to data subject requests about widget-collected data
3. Enforcement
- Warning → Content removal → Feature restriction → Suspension → Termination → Legal referral
Immediate action without notice for imminent harm or legal risk.
