1. Our Commitment
TechTeamUp Ltd is committed to ensuring that BugBoard at bugs.techteamup.com is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and to comply with the Equality Act 2010 (UK) and other applicable accessibility legislation.
2. Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML with appropriate ARIA landmarks and labels
- Keyboard-navigable interface — all interactive elements are reachable via keyboard
- Sufficient colour contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
- Responsive design that works across devices and screen sizes
- Text alternatives for non-decorative images
- Form inputs with associated labels and clear error messaging
- Focus indicators visible on all interactive elements
- No content that flashes more than three times per second
- Page titles and heading hierarchy that reflect content structure
3. Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some areas may have limitations:
- Screenshot images in bug reports — these are user-generated visual captures and may not have meaningful alt text. We provide surrounding context (page URL, description, metadata) to assist understanding.
- Annotation overlays — the visual annotation tool relies on pointer interaction. We are exploring keyboard and voice alternatives.
- Embeddable widget — the widget rendered on third-party sites is designed to be keyboard-accessible and screen-reader compatible, but its accessibility also depends on the host site's environment.
- Third-party components — some UI components from third-party libraries may have accessibility gaps that we work to address as updates are available.
4. Compatibility
BugBoard is designed to be compatible with:
- Modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge — latest two versions)
- Screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack
- Browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
- Operating system high-contrast modes and reduced-motion preferences
5. Assessment and Testing
We assess accessibility through a combination of automated testing tools (axe-core, Lighthouse), manual keyboard testing, and screen reader testing. We welcome feedback from users with disabilities to help us identify and address barriers.
6. Feedback and Contact
